Nordstrom Winter Sale

It is that time again.... the Nordstrom Winter Sale. There are so many good bargains that I will be featuring them on the Ashley in Pink Facebook page this week. I attempted to go to Nordstrom, but there were so many people there and I had a difficult time finding items in my size. The online selection is so much better. Do you you regularly shop at Nordstrom? I do! The FREE shipping and FREE returns is so convenient. I shop at night while watching TV in my PJ's and a few days later my friendly UPS driver delivers so many packages that it looks like Christmas morning. Rainy Day Favorites

My sweet friend, JR, emailed me with a list of topics she would like to see featured on the blog. One of the things she requested was where to find cute rain boots. I am obsessed with rain boots, so this is going to be a fun one for me. My husband is so OVER rain boots because I have ordered no less than 20 pairs in the last few weeks and they have been ALL over the house. I also dragged him to the mall (of, the horror) to return a pair and try on some others. Cue the song “The Things We Do For Love  .” Let me give you some helpful marital/relationship advice – leave the husband/boyfriend/significant other at home when shopping for rain boots. They will NOT understand why you need yet another pair of rain boots. They have been mislead to believe that you only need one pair (if any at all) of rain boots. It will save you a lot of time and frustration if you can avoid having to explain to him why you MUST have Red, Hunter rain boots. There will be another blog discussion dedicated to Hunter boots another day. Now let me get you started in the right direction to make your rainy day a little brighter.

I do REALLY, REALLY love my Red, Hunter Boots. I decided on the Huntress style since I need a wide calf boot. Trying to find the Huntress in red proved to be a challenge, but I did succeed and they are ON SALE!  I am going to give you the details on my Red, Hunter Huntress Boots below:

Hello, My name is Ashley. I have been married for almost five years to my wonderful husband, Mark. We have three cute, little dogs. Parker (a black and white Cock a Poo mix) is just a few months shy of turning 17 years old. She was my dog that I had before we met, yet she has become his dog. Parker has congestive heart failure and suffers from a condition known as pericardial effusion where fluid accumulates around her heart. She has had to have the fluid removed three times over the last three years. Despite her condition, she is in really good spirits and is still spunky even though she can’t see or hear as well. My other two are Yorkies. Allie is a little over a year and a half old and is the sweetest thing. Bama is just a little over one year old and full grown does not weigh more than 4 pounds. Despite her small size, she has a BIG attitude. She definitely has no idea how little she is, and she is the alpha dog in the house. Yes, we are Crimson Tide fans. My husband attended the University of Alabama. More about me later, I am sure you are wondering why I started this blog.

Ok… why am I writing this blog? Basically, I have an obsession with shopping and finding great deals. Whenever my friends are looking for something, they all call me and ask where they should look. I am by no means a “fashionista”, but I do know where to find great bargains. Not everything I buy is on sale, but it is a majority of the time. I want to write this blog to help people find fun stuff on sale or at a good value.
