1 Lilly Pulitzer Top Worn 8 Ways

Do you love versatile pieces as much as I do? Lilly Pulitzer has THE cutest reversible top this season. It is here just in time for their biggest promotion of the season that starts Saturday, March 24th. I also LOVE free gifts with purchase. I am sad that I had already purchased this top before the promotion started because I would have scored this adorable luggage tag.

This awesome top comes in 2 prints and 3 solid colors. One of the solid colors is white. I tried this one on in the store. It is lined so it is not see through at all. The solid also comes in a blue and a pink version. I personally fell in love with the printed version. I bought the navy and pink flamingo print called High Tide Navy Via Amor Small. Bring It On 2018

I have been slack on my blog posts. This is my first one in a really long time. I find it easier to post to Facebook. Well, 2018 is here and I am trying to keep to my resolutions. Resolution Number 1 is to write a Facebook post each day, so far I have failed at this. I am trying really hard though.

Something happened this morning that has prompted this post. I went to put on one of my favorite pair of jeans and they were too TIGHT! This brings me to Resolution Number 2, to lose weight.  It is time to get serious with my exercise and diet programs. I attend a boot camp 2 mornings a week and typically exercise the other days as well. Vacations, holidays and weather have sidetracked me and now my pants are too tight. 

I have decided to join Weight Watchers since it will allow me to eat everyday foods. My husband even agreed to do this with me. I am sharing this with all of you so I can be held accountable. I will be starting this program on February 1st. I have already signed up and am spending the next week on researching recipes and preparing shopping lists. I am really excited about this adventure and I hope you guys will cheer me on and hold me accountable. I will be periodically posting updates here and on the Facebook page.

Nordstrom Winter Sale

It is that time again.... the Nordstrom Winter Sale. There are so many good bargains that I will be featuring them on the Ashley in Pink Facebook page this week. I attempted to go to Nordstrom, but there were so many people there and I had a difficult time finding items in my size. The online selection is so much better. Rainy Day Favorites

My sweet friend, JR, emailed me with a list of topics she would like to see featured on the blog. One of the things she requested was where to find cute rain boots. I am obsessed with rain boots, so this is going to be a fun one for me. My husband is so OVER rain boots because I have ordered no less than 20 pairs in the last few weeks and they have been ALL over the house. I also dragged him to the mall (of, the horror) to return a pair and try on some others. Cue the song “The Things We Do For Love  .” Let me give you some helpful marital/relationship advice – leave the husband/boyfriend/significant other at home when shopping for rain boots. They will NOT understand why you need yet another pair of rain boots. They have been mislead to believe that you only need one pair (if any at all) of rain boots. It will save you a lot of time and frustration if you can avoid having to explain to him why you MUST have Red, Hunter rain boots. There will be another blog discussion dedicated to Hunter boots another day. Now let me get you started in the right direction to make your rainy day a little brighter.

Hello, My name is Ashley. I have been married for almost five years to my wonderful husband, Mark. We have three cute, little dogs. Parker (a black and white Cock a Poo mix) is just a few months shy of turning 17 years old. She was my dog that I had before we met, yet she has become his dog. Parker has congestive heart failure and suffers from a condition known as pericardial effusion where fluid accumulates around her heart. She has had to have the fluid removed three times over the last three years. Despite her condition, she is in really good spirits and is still spunky even though she can’t see or hear as well. My other two are Yorkies. Allie is a little over a year and a half old and is the sweetest thing. Bama is just a little over one year old and full grown does not weigh more than 4 pounds. Despite her small size, she has a BIG attitude. She definitely has no idea how little she is, and she is the alpha dog in the house. Yes, we are Crimson Tide fans. My husband attended the University of Alabama. More about me later, I am sure you are wondering why I started this blog.

Ok… why am I writing this blog? Basically, I have an obsession with shopping and finding great deals. Whenever my friends are looking for something, they all call me and ask where they should look.
